Kingsport is a coastal town located on the Atlantic coast of Massachusetts, in the Miskatonic Valley Region. Kings port is 3 miles down stream of Arkham and about 10 miles north along the shore from Salem.
Kingsport was once an International Port of Entry and major player Ship Building industry, heroes of The War of Independence sailed as Privateers from the port to harras the Kings fleet.
But these days are long gone, overtaken by Boston and New York, Kingsport is no longer an International Port of Entry and has no ship building industry. It still retains its ties to the sea via its fishing fleet. It has remade itself in the form of an old world rustic charm of a holiday and vacation location. It is also making a name for itself as a liberal arts scene has begun to blossom recently.
